| The range of self-adhesive PVC and Polyethylene
foam sealants and bonding materials are widely used in the industrial
air handling systems where secure air and dust seals are required. The
products are quick, clean and effective in application and are supplied
in easy-to-handle roll form.
Foam Tapes
Air Ducting
To prevent air leakage and maintain air pressure, the products are applied
to seal flange joints. The product forms a quick, effective seal and
is an economic alternative to wet applied mastics. The whole product
range have been independently tested and conform to the specification
laid down in the HVAC manual DW/142 for sheet metal ductwork. The products
are suitable for use on up to high pressure grade D ducting (2,500 PA)
and are resistant to a wide range of chemicals: further details on request.
Access Doors/Inspection Hatches and Ductwork Support
Our self-adhesive polyethylene foam air and dust seals products are
applied around the hinged access doors on air handling and motor units
of heating and ventilating systems. Closing the door compresses the
foam strip to provide an effective seal which prevent air escape and
vibration.
Where either stirrup brackets or hangers support air ducting is used,
our medium density foam tapes are applied between the ductwork and metal
support for cushioning and noise reduction. The foam helps prevent condensation
from occurring where the warm air duct passes over the cold metal support.
Pipe Insulation Tape
The self-adhesive pipe insulation tape is a black closed cell PVC foam
which structure provides for a highly conformable product . It has been
specifically designed to give good insulation properties and will help
prevent condensation.
Aluminium Foil, Silver Cloth and pPVC Insulation Tapes
Silver coloured tapes (heat reflecting) which give further protection
to seals and joints on pipe and ductwork.
