DESCRIPTION:
88-99 6.00 Mil Double Sided Silicone Adhesive Polyester Tape. Yellow Double Sided Polyester Film Tape with PET Liner. 88-99 consists of a polyester film coated with a specialty formulated silicone adhesive system on both sides. 88-99 offers high adhesion and superior initial tack to silicone release liners and various low surface energy substrates. 88-99 was designed to perform in various high temperature bonding and assembly applications.

APPLICATIONS:

An 'overlapping splice' overlaps the end of one roll over the start of the next roll and this overlap is jointed together with a double-sided adhesive tape (adhesive on both sides of the tape), with a good balance of properties. Used for casting / release papers. In the processing of paper, board or foils the initial stage involves conveying these materials over transport rollers for further conversion. The casting / release papers come in rolls of 2m wide (or wider) and in roll lengths which can be several thousand meters long. The manufacturing process is continuous, which requires the end of one roll to be spliced quickly to the start of the next roll.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
The rolls should be stored flat on their cut edges in the original packaging. The product must be protected from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent fumes. Storage temperature about 20°C. Shelf Life 12 months.
