Novasol Klebetech - 741KG Yellow tape - High Performance Polyester Tape with Silicone Adhesive

DESCRIPTION:

741KG is a 25μm clear polyester film, single coated with a translucent yellow silicone pressure sensitive adhesive system, 85μm total thickness. Recommended for a variety of masking and splicing applications. 741KG is a general purpose tape based on polyester film with silicone adhesive and designed for finish work on various surface and heat resistant masking. 741KG has features such as excellent heat resistance, dielectric strength and it can be removed cleanly after use without adhesive residue. APPLICATIONS:

Masking contacts during PCB manufacturing.
High temperature masking during curing cycles.
Masking during chemical etching.
Splicing of various types of substrates, particularly siliconised surfaces like silicone release papers.
End roll tabbing.

PRODUCT BENEFITS:

When applying Pressure Sensitive tape to any surface, please make sure that the surface should be free from oil or any other surface contaminants such as powder, dust or release agent
Withstands ten minute periods of heat up to 180°C
Resists baking temperatures up to 180°C up to 10 minutes
Yellow colour enables easy splice identification
Adhesive performance should be carefully checked when used on substrates containing plasticizers
The property warranty period is 6 months from the date of shipment when stored under a cool and dry conditions of 25°C +/- 5°C and 40%C+/- 20% R.H. in the original packaging

RECOMMENDATIONS:

The shelf life will vary depending on conditions of storage but should not be less than one year from the date of manufacture of stored in a moderate climate and good conditions. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of dust, grease, oil or other contaminants. Adhesive performance should be carefully checked when used on substrates containing plasticisers.
