4415 Double Sided PET cross linked rubber adhesive amber liner Plate Mounting Tape 100 µm

4415 is a general purpose double sided tape based on a PET film carrier. The tape is coated on both sides with a solvent rubber based adhesive system with an 80 g/m2 amber siliconised paper release liner. 4415 is a 100 µm double sided tape that can be used for flexographic plate mounting and features a high tack pressure sensitive rubber adhesive on both sides.

APPLICATIONS

Mounting of flexographic photopolymer and rubber plates onto cylinder or sleeve.
The special grade rubber adhesive used on 4415 makes that product versatile enough to be used for mounting a variety of combinations of rubber or photopolymer plates with steel cylinders or sleeves
All applications where a 100 µm transparent tape is required to make up the correct plate/tape thickness.
For self-locating creasing matrix systems for the packaging industry.
Show card assembly (Point of Sale).
Mounting sample cards, display items.
General purpose splicing tape (except for siliconised films and papers).

Plates secured with 4415 will not move, even on extensive print runs.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Rolls should be stored flat on their cut edges in the original packaging. The product must be protected from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent fumes. Storage temperature between +10 °C and 30 °C. Life expectancy can vary with temperature and humidity and a maximum of 1 year is recommended from the date of shipment.
